A high-quality BIAB treatment involves several key steps. Depending on your technique and brand, your setup might vary – but generally, you’ll need:

• A solid prep routine
• A base coat (optional for most BIAB shades, but recommended or required for Clear, White and Milky BIAB)
• Your BIAB colour(s) of choice
• A suitable liner brush
• A LED/UV lamp
• A top coat, like TGB Extreme Shine Top Coat
  
  

A carbide bit (medium grit, for example) is ideal for safely and efficiently removing BIAB. Just make sure to use the correct speed and technique to avoid damaging the natural nail.

BIAB by The GelBottle cures in 60 seconds under a LED lamp of at least 48W. Using a thicker layer? Then we recommend 90 seconds for a proper cure.

Pro tip: Always check that the product is fully cured before moving on to the next step – better safe than sorry.

Nope – not every lamp is suitable for curing BIAB properly. For The GelBottle products, you’ll need a powerful LED lamp with a minimum of 48W.
We recommend using a lamp with a low-heat mode, allowing the gel to cure gradually and reducing the risk of heat spikes (sudden heat sensation).

Always check the brand's recommended lamp settings. Because not every lamp = a good match.

If BIAB starts lifting or peeling, it can be caused by:

• Insufficient nail prep
• Damaged nail plate
• Improper cleansing or dehydrating
• Incomplete curing
• Product touching the skin during application (leading to lifting)

Proper prep and application are key to long-lasting results.
