This cat eye gel polish is part of the Pulling Gleam A Collection by RIPOSO, a Korean collection of 5 magnetic gel polishes (MAG21-MAG25) with a soft, radiant cat eye finish. Thanks to the ultra-fine magnetic pigments a beautiful depth effect appears when you combine the gel with a magnet. Create a subtle velvet look or play with pronounced cat eye effects for striking nail art designs.

Like all RIPOSO products this gel is HEMA free, TPO free and 13-free. The gel is self-levelling and cures quickly under a UV/LED lamp, with full coverage in one to two layers.

How do you use this cat eye gel polish?

Step 1: Prepare the nails
Finish your manicure so you have a clean and tidy base before you start the gel application.

Step 2: Apply the base coat
Apply a thin layer of RIPOSO Base Gel and cure it under a LED lamp for 60 seconds.

Step 3: Apply a colour layer of gel polish if you want one and cure it fully.

Step 4: Apply a thin layer of the cat eye colour.

Step 5: Hold the cat eye magnet about 3 to 5 mm above the wet gel. Move the magnet slowly in the direction you want, so the effect takes shape. Experiment with different angles and positions for unique designs.

Step 6: Once you have the effect you want, cure the gel under the LED lamp for 60 seconds.

Step 7: Apply the top coat
Apply a top coat such as the RIPOSO Non-wipe Top Gel or the RIPOSO Matte Top Gel and seal the free edge. Cure the top coat under the LED lamp.

Step 8: Aftercare
Apply a nourishing cuticle oil.

Tip: work nail by nail so the cat eye effect does not shift unintentionally.
