Ethel is made for use during a manicure and pedicure. Her straight edge lifts dead skin off the nail plate, and a good prep with Ethel extends the life of your gel application.
How do you use Ethel?
Step 1: Hold Ethel the way you hold a pencil, with a light but firm grip. Ethel is not a pusher and works differently: she is very sharp, so work carefully.
Step 2: Place the edge of Ethel flat against the nail plate.
Step 3: Glide gently and without pressure over the nail plate to release the dead skin.
Tip: if this causes pain or discomfort, you are using too much pressure. Some nails carry more dead skin than others, but more pressure is never the answer. Do not use Ethel if the sharp edges are damaged.
