How do you use the VALLA Barrier+ gel?
Step 1: Prepare the nails for a gel polish manicure
Start with a good base. First carry out a manicure and clean the nails thoroughly by dehydrating them. Make sure the nail plate is free of cuticle and dust, so the nails are completely ready for the next steps.
Step 2: Applying Valla base gel
Apply a thin layer of Valla Base Gel and cure it.
Step 3: Applying the VALLA Barrier+ gel
Apply the VALLA Barrier+ gel to the damaged spot or over the free edge to add strength.
TIP: If the nail is broken, press it together where needed so no air pockets form, before you cure the gel under a lamp. Do this carefully so the nail does not break completely.
Step 4: Curing
Cure under a LED/UV lamp for 60 seconds.
Step 5: Levelling the nail
Use a 180 grit file or a coarse buffer to smooth out any unevenness after curing.
IMPORTANT: The VALLA Barrier+ gel is only to be used as a base reinforcement of the natural nail. It is not intended for a full nail extension. For that, use it in combination with Builder Pro gel.
How do you use the Builder Pro Gel?
Step 1: Prepare the nails for a gel polish manicure
Start with a good base. First carry out a manicure and clean the nails thoroughly by dehydrating them. Make sure the nail plate is free of cuticle and dust, so the nails are completely ready for the next steps.
Step 2: Applying base coat
Apply a thin layer of Valla Base Gel and cure it.
Step 3: Creating the free edge
Place the nail form or tip. Apply Builder Pro gel to the natural nail and extend the free edge with the Builder Pro gel.
Step 4: Building up the nail
Build up the nail with the Builder Pro gel. Cure for 60 sec under a LED lamp (LED UV). Then carefully remove the nail form and remove the tacky layer.
Step 5: Filing the shape
File the nail into shape with a 180 grit file until you reach the desired result.
Step 6: Applying top coat
Apply a Valla Top Gel and seal the free edge. Cure the top coat according to the instructions.
Step 7: Aftercare
Once the desired result has been achieved with the manicure, apply a nourishing cuticle oil.
