Meet the beautiful Preciosa Flatback Crystals ! These high-quality and lead-free crystals are produced in the Czech Republic and are available in numerous shapes, colors and sizes.

This Small Size pack contains :

Important! This color shows weakness in terms of wear, meaning the surface coating can quickly wear off and the crystals turn black. Preciosa does not recommend using these colors in places where wear and tear may occur, for example on nails. If you decide to purchase these colors for these types of applications, make sure your customers take extra care to preserve the crystal layer. This color is better used as a toothgem!

The crystals are non-hotfix , which means that they do not have their own adhesive layer and are resistant to the heat of LED/UV lamps.

Whether you want to create a subtle or bold look, these Preciosa Flatback gemstones are perfect for both. Thanks to their flat side, they are super easy to apply and give your creations a beautiful, glittering touch.

How do you use these gems?

Step 1 : Finish your design or manicure as normal. Apply a thin layer of top coat over the entire nail and cure.

Step 2 : Apply a layer of Gel UV Glue to the area where you want to apply the gems. This can be done, for example, with a liner brush or a dotting tool. Do not harden it yet.

Tip! Do not apply the gel too thinly. If you use the right amount, your gems will be well encapsulated when you apply the gems in the uncured Gel UV Glue. This means that you no longer have to seal them in step 6. #WorkSmarterNotHarder

Step 3 : Use a Wax Tool Picker to pick up the gem, and place it into the layer of Gel UV Glue. Cure this layer completely in the lamp (LED 90 sec; UV 180 sec).

Step 4 : It is not necessary to seal the Gel UV Glue with a top coat. The most important thing is that the gems are encapsulated on the sides to make your design 'impact proof'. If your gems are not yet sufficiently encapsulated after application in step 3: use a liner brush and apply a layer of Gel UV Glue around the gem(s). Cure completely in the lamp (LED 90 sec; UV 180 sec).
